I love Hip Hop.  Plain and Simple.  I didn’t listen to hip hop until about 6 years ago (with the exception of the Beastie Boys which I’ve been listening to since I was little Nate).  Obviously, I can be called out as a poser, backpacker, whatever.  I’m fine with that.  I just love the music, clever and witty rhymes, and catchy, innovative beats.  Most of all, I love the songs that are catchy as hell and make me want to dance.  And I can’t dance so anything that accomplishes that has got my attention.

I read a lot of hip hop blogs but none of them really address catchy hip hop specifically.  I’ll come across a real gem every now and then but I wish I had some place to go that was reliable.  I plan on filling that niche.

You won’t find much, if any, mainstream hip hop that you’d find on a radio though.  Just a head’s up.
